They are seeking a Vice President of Multifamily Construction to establish and grow a new multifamily division, responsible for launching and leading the firm’s multifamily business line in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Responsibilities
Establish and grow a standalone multifamily construction division
Lead business development efforts, leveraging developer, owner, and capital partner relationships in the D.C. metro area
Secure and negotiate new project opportunities from pursuit through contract execution
Provide executive oversight of multifamily project delivery, from preconstruction through closeout
Build and mentor project teams, including hiring and developing operational leadership
Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth, forecasting, and diversification strategy
Represent the company externally with owners, partners, and industry stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Senior construction leader with a strong general contracting background
Demonstrated experience delivering multifamily projects in the D.C. metro area
Proven seller–doer with established local developer and owner relationships
Track record of building or scaling a business line, market, or regional operation
Strong commercial acumen, contract knowledge, and operational credibility
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Stable employment history with long-term tenures preferred
