Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and validate regulatory reports and supporting workpapers for accuracy and completeness
Interpret and apply regulatory guidance and accounting standards to ensure compliant reporting
Research complex financial reporting issues, develop recommendations, and document conclusions
Coordinate workflows for reporting deliverables and respond to ad hoc requests from leadership and regulators
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Treasury, Compliance, Audit, and Legal to ensure accurate communication and execution of reporting requirements
Identify and mitigate risks associated with reporting activities in line with internal risk and compliance frameworks
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation projects and data control enhancements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or four additional years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Minimum six years of experience preparing financial statements or regulatory reports for a bank, financial services company, or holding company
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
At least four years of experience conducting financial analysis and operational reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting systems or automation tools (e.g., Axiom or similar)
Working knowledge of enterprise financial systems such as Oracle Cloud GL
Background or affiliation with the military community is a plus
