Workplace Language & Communication Program Coordinator

The Workplace Language & Communication Program Coordinator is responsible for designing and managing language development programs to enhance communication across the workforce, focusing on both English and Spanish language skills for employees and managers.

Responsibilities

Design and manage workplace language programs that include:
English language development for employees
Spanish language learning for managers who supervise Spanish-speaking employees
Build structured learning pathways for multiple proficiency levels, from foundational to advanced workplace communication
Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and materials focused on real-world workplace application, including safety, leadership communication, performance conversations, and daily operations
Coordinate and deliver in-person workshops and learning resources
Ensure all programs reflect Azure’s values, operational needs, and commitment to a respectful, people-centered workplace
Create and facilitate Spanish learning programs specifically designed for managers and supervisors
Equip leaders with practical Spanish communication skills relevant to:
Coaching and feedback
Safety and operations
Team connection and engagement
Performance and development conversations
Partner with leadership to integrate language learning into leadership development initiatives
Support managers in building confidence, cultural awareness, and effective bilingual communication practices
Assess language proficiency levels for employees and participating managers
Place learners into appropriate learning tracks and monitor ongoing progress
Provide one-on-one coaching, feedback, and supplemental support as needed
Adapt instruction based on learning needs, job functions, and progress outcomes
Partner with Employee Services, People & Culture, department managers, and operations leaders to understand role-specific communication needs
Customize programs to support safety, productivity, leadership effectiveness, and employee growth
Provide guidance to leaders on best practices for supporting bilingual and ESL team members
Promote language program offerings across the organization
Develop internal communications and outreach materials that encourage participation and reinforce the value of language learning
Support a culture that views language development as a leadership tool and an employee growth opportunity
Track attendance, engagement, learning progress, and program outcomes
Prepare regular reports for department leadership
Gather participant feedback and continuously refine program structure, curriculum, and delivery methods
Evaluate program impact on communication effectiveness, engagement, and team performance
Support cross-functional people and culture initiatives
Maintain organized documentation and program materials
Perform other related duties as assigned by department leadership

Required

Certificate or degree in ESL, TESOL, Education, Linguistics, Organizational Development, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult education, workplace learning, or ESL instruction
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and program coordination
Proficiency in both English and Spanish
Experience working with diverse employee populations in a corporate, manufacturing, warehouse, agricultural, or operations environment
Knowledge of adult learning principles and applied workplace instruction methods
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to teach across varying education and leadership levels
High level of cultural awareness, empathy, patience, and professionalism
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and virtual learning platforms
