Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty - Torrance -Japanese Bilingual

MST Insurance Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to service a book of commercial lines business. The role involves working closely with various account managers and executives to handle inside service work, including policy changes, renewals, and client communications.

Responsibilities

Responsible for intake, issuance, and distribution of all certificates of insurance
Process all policy change requests includes but is not limited to the following; endorsement change, invoicing additional premiums preparing check request, mailing documents, etc
Work with Account Representative, Account Manager, Account Executive, Client Executive, prepares annual and/or interim insurance policy audits, Insurance applications
Work with Account Representative, Account Manager, Account Executives, and Client executives to prepare client policy renewals and preparing proposals
Under the direction of the Account Manager, Account Executive, assist with preparing broker of record letter, new account set-up, competitive bids
Under the direction of the Account Manager, Account Executive, assist with billing of premiums associated with policy transactions
Inputs and maintains record of all activities in AMS 360 and ImageRight
Participate in seminars and educational classes for development of skills and knowledge
Provides high quality of work with professional demeanor and technical accuracy
Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned

Required

Professional-level Japanese fluency, including reading and writing, is required for this position
We often work from home, but candidates must reside within 30 miles of our Torrance office and be willing to come in as needed, at manager's discretion
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Ability to work independently and make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgement
Must obtain and maintain active P&C insurance license within 3 months of hire
Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with co-workers, vendors and insurance carriers
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time/project management skills

Preferred

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum two-years related experience and/or training preferred
