Responsibilities

Operate insulation manufacturing equipment safely and precisely, following Shift Supervisor guidance to ensure smooth, efficient operations
Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, Cold End Coordinator, and Maintenance team to promptly address equipment issues and ensure safety, reliability, and peak performance
Stay informed about plant operations and safety protocols by actively participating in departmental and plant-wide safety meetings
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product quality, environmental sustainability, and health and safety standards
Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any irregularities to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
Assist with implementing preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and reduce unexpected breakdowns
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe, compliant work environment
Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge and contribute to personal and team growth
Identify opportunities for process improvement and share recommendations to optimize production and operational efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with housekeeping and safety standards
Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization
Instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
Accurately count and perform basic math functions, including mental calculation of simple equations and/or fractions
Proficient in English (reading and writing)
