Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of operations / system engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, rigorous attention to detail, and continuous improvement

Oversee the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and optimization of core infrastructure services supporting Enterprise File Transfer

Design, implement, and maintain highly available / resilient enterprise file transfer solutions, with a preference for experience in Globalscape and MOVEit environments

Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure system reliability, stability, and compliance, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply structured critical thinking to drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions

Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, SOX)

Automate workflows using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades

Familiarity with PGP encryption and key management systems

Participate and manage rotational 24x7x365 support

Required

7+ years in IT operations, 2+ years in leadership

Strong leadership and communication skills

Hands-on EFT architecture experience

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
