Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities
Plan and execute engineering projects involving equipment, tooling, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards
Manage capital projects from justification (CAPR) through procurement, installation, programming, training, documentation, and production support within budget constraints
Coordinate project resources and design reviews, overseeing technical studies, specifications, layouts, and product testing for efficiency and quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine equipment specifications, secure quotes, manage tooling supplies, and optimize manufacturing capabilities and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
Ability to gather and analyze information to develop solutions and in turn develop strategies to achieve organizational goals
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Preferred
minimum 2 years experience (preferred)
5+ years experience with manufacturing process review/development including strong understanding of lean process improvements
Experienced with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC and computer controls
Experienced with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks modeling software
Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications
