Accounting Manager (ONLY 2 days/week in office), 120K-125K
Responsibilities
Own the general ledger and make sure assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses are accurately recorded
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and help produce financial reports
Work with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
Manage and develop 3 direct reports, helping them grow in their careers
Support Operations by providing guidance on financial statements across multiple locations
Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Help maintain strong internal controls and compliance practices
Look for ways to improve processes and introduce automation where it makes sense
Assist the Director and Senior Director with projects and research as needed
Jump in on other tasks as they come up
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA required
8+ years of accounting experience, including people management
Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and internal controls
Comfortable improving processes and finding smarter ways to work
Strong Excel skills and overall proficiency in Microsoft Office
A collaborative, service-minded approach with strong communication skills
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a growing organization
Preferred
Experience in a multi-location environment is a plus; large or public company experience is strongly preferred
Experience with large ERP systems is a plus
