Responsibilities
Taking inbound calls from mortgage borrowers regarding payment, escrow, and general mortgage servicing questions
Taking outbound calls to remind borrowers of their payments, asking if they want to make the payment via phone
Directly engaging with Valon customers across a variety of inbound customer requests and inquiries, including website assistance, escrow, and processing payoffs
Offering and referring eligible homeowners for refinancing opportunities to the Originations department
Performing outbound collection activities on accounts less than 30 days past due, and at times may include accounts with higher delinquencies
Understanding escalation paths for different types of calls and dynamically routing them to appropriate internal parties
Meeting performance expectations and utilizing the internal software platform
Qualification
Required
Call center experience or mortgage servicing experience
high school diploma or equivalent required
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Eagerness to learn how to use our proprietary servicing software
2-3 years of recent experience in a contact center taking high volumes of inbound & outbound calls
Reliability is a must as we have noticed heavy attrition with folks with job gaps and bad tenure
Must have RFL for all positions
No Job hoppers, or large employment gaps
Must sign attendance contract at offer
Training (Mandatory Cannot miss a day)
