Metric Geo is focused on high-voltage transmission and substation projects, and they are seeking a Transmission & Substation Project Manager. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Manage transmission and substation projects from early planning and engineering through construction, commissioning, and closeout

Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost control

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities

Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and utility stakeholders

Lead project meetings, track progress, and resolve technical, schedule, and cost issues

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NERC, utility standards, etc.)

Review and approve contracts, change orders, invoices, and risk registers

Support permitting, land rights, outages, and coordination with system operations

Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
