Responsibilities
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate office files
Support the Project Surveyors to efficiently complete tasks assigned to office staff
Support the Survey Field Crews to efficiently complete tasks assigned to field crews
Provide coordination and expertise related to the work of field survey crews and office staff
Review survey crew field work
Prepare accurate computer drafted surveys, plats, topographic surveys, and engineering surveys based on field surveys
Research and prepare land descriptions and maps in accordance with applicable standards
Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
5+ years of experience in a similar position
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
Proficient with mathematical computations/calculations using algebra and geometry
Ability to understand and interpret information in plats, maps, reports, descriptions, surveys, digital map models, etc
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and coworkers
High level of personal integrity, ethics, client confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency with Excel and other general office software
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in land surveying or a related field with relevant coursework
LSIT Certification
