Responsibilities
Program and operate CMMs to inspect cast and machined components
Develop, test, and validate CMM programs using part drawings and CAD models
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Create accurate inspection routines and maintain quality documentation
Provide feedback to production and engineering on dimensional trends or issues
Maintain calibration and readiness of metrology equipment
Support continuous improvement efforts within the Quality department
Qualification
Required
2+ years of CMM programming/inspection experience
Strong GD&T knowledge and blueprint interpretation skills
Proficiency with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.)
Ability to analyze CAD files and customer specifications
Solid problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail
Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team

PC-DMIS preferred
