Responsibilities
Track and expedite work orders through inspection to meet customer delivery schedules
Prioritize and adjust workflow based on critical customer needs, engineering changes, and production constraints
Identify roadblocks or delays and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly
Work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure nonconformances (NCRs) are resolved quickly
Coordinate the movement of parts through AS9100-compliant quality inspection processes
Ensure all required certifications, test results, material traceability documents, and travelers are complete and accompany parts at each stage
Assist in clearing nonconformances (NCRs) by working with Quality and Engineering to keep product flow uninterrupted
Provide daily updates to management on production status, risks, and schedule impacts
Escalate issues impacting delivery, yield, or customer satisfaction
Ensure all production records comply with aerospace and defense regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, DoD, NADCAP when applicable)
Validate accuracy of routers, inspection sheets, work instructions, and engineering change documentation
Generate reports on workflow performance, cycle time, and expediting activities
Qualification
Required
Experience in production and workflow coordination
Ability to track and expedite work orders through inspection
Strong prioritization skills based on customer needs and production constraints
Experience in identifying roadblocks and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of AS9100-compliant quality inspection processes
Ability to ensure all required certifications and documentation accompany parts
Experience in resolving nonconformances (NCRs) quickly
Strong communication skills for providing updates to management
Ability to escalate issues impacting delivery and customer satisfaction
Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, DoD, NADCAP)
Experience in validating accuracy of production documentation
Ability to generate reports on workflow performance and expediting activities
