The University of La Verne is seeking adjunct faculty for the LaFetra College of Education to support programs in Educational Counseling, School Psychology, and Child Development. Responsibilities

Teach the undergraduate Child Development courses, graduate-level Educational Counseling courses, and graduate-level School Psychology courses primarily on the main La Verne campus
Support three student-centered programs: the M.S. in Educational Counseling, the M.S. in School Psychology, and the undergraduate Child Development major
Join a diverse, collaborative training community committed to preparing ethical, culturally responsive practitioners and educators

Required

Earned doctorate or master's degree in Educational Counseling or School Psychology from a regionally accredited institution
PPS Credential with specialization in School Counseling
A minimum of three years of successful experience in Educational Counseling PK-16
A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities and issues of social justice
Experience with development of planning, organizing, and implementing data-based comprehensive school counseling programs, best practices in individual/small group counseling, counselor leadership
Working knowledge of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model framework for comprehensive, data-driven school counseling programs
Earned doctorate or Master's degree in School Psychology or Educational Counseling from a regionally accredited institution
PPS Credential with specialization in School Psychology
A minimum of three years of successful experience in school psychology
A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities, and issues of social justice
Experience with data-based decision making, academic intervention/strategy development, best practices in assessment/bilingual assessment, and behavior intervention
Working knowledge of the National Association of School Psychologists Model for Comprehensive and Integrated School Psychological Services
Master's degree in Child Development, Human Development or related field
Experience working with young children
Experience working with diverse populations

Preferred

Doctoral degree in Child Development, Human Development, Education, Psychology, or related field
Preference will be given to those with evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring
