Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain subcontractor agreements and approvals
Coordinate contractor registration and engineer training
Manage the permit‑to‑work process and review method statements
Inspect and score completed work, ensuring it meets quality standards
Carry out off‑site quality checks when required
Produce performance reports and contractor league tables to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience in subcontractor or supplier coordination within engineering or manufacturing
Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes
Excellent communication, organisation and report‑writing skills
Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
Confident using contractor management systems and Microsoft Office
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline
IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
