The Swift Group, LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst to work in Laurel, MD. The Financial Analyst will assist in the creation of the program and budget, perform statistical and graphical analysis on resource management, and monitor expenses against budgets.

Responsibilities

Assist with compilation, reporting, and preparation of program and budget information for submission to various stakeholders

Assist in the preparation of capabilities requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, memos, and other documents within prescribed timelines for review and analysis

Assist with the analysis of funding requirements combined with the execution history and assist in the analysis and reporting of planned versus actual requirements and funding

Assist in monitoring expenses against budgets

Required

Five (5) years of DoD or commercial experience in purchasing or finance and a bachelor's degree with a business focus is required

Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/ project status in areas of cost, schedule and performance is required

Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs is required

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required

Preferred

Experience with the Agency's financial management system is preferred

In lieu of a degree, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA II in Business/ Financial Management and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eight (8) years may be substituted

In lieu of a degree, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA II in Business/ Financial Management and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of thirteen (13) years may be substituted
