Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely financial records
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconciling accounts
Overseeing payroll
Monitoring cash flow
Ensuring compliance with federal funding regulations
Collaboration with internal departments to streamline financial processes and support decision-making

Required

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including proficiency in GAAP and compliance
Skills in using accounting software, data analysis tools, Microsoft Excel and finance management tools such as Net Suite
Experience managing grants and reporting to leadership on their status
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience in healthcare or nonprofit accounting is a must
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

CPA or equivalent certification preferred
grant writing experience a major plus
