Icon Strategic Account Manager
Icon Boiler is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Strategic Account Manager with deep experience in the Boiler industry to manage and grow key client relationships. This role involves driving revenue growth, delivering value-added solutions, and ensuring long-term partnerships with high-value clients.

Responsibilities
Own and manage a portfolio of strategic Boiler accounts
Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
Develop, manage, and execute account plans that align with client goals and internal growth objectives
Identify long-term opportunities and coordinate resources to deliver Boiler solutions that add measurable value
Lead the full sales cycle—including discovery, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and close—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in engineering, service, and operations
Cultivate executive-level relationships with key stakeholders
Serve as a trusted consultant and advocate for the customer within the organization
Maintain deep knowledge of Boiler systems, building automation, energy efficiency solutions, and industry trends to identify new opportunities and educate clients on emerging technologies
Identify opportunities to expand the scope of business across multiple offerings (e.g., service agreements, energy retrofits, equipment upgrades, digital solutions, heating solutions, and integrated security solutions)
Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
Track account performance and prepare regular reports for leadership
Log sales calls
Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company
Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively
Improve personal performance on a continual basis
Provide responsive, professional and diplomatic customer service
Answer customer calls and correspondence quickly and pleasantly
Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and patient manner
Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
Immediately address any customer’s concern and requests the involvement of other Company personnel as required
Follow all company safety programs and report any non-compliance to your Supervisor
Notify Supervisor or Safety Manager of any unsafe conditions
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree required
Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience and/or industry knowledge required
Proven success managing large or enterprise accounts
MS Office skills
Salesforce skills
NetSuite skills
Driver's License
Proof of insurance
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to pass drug screening
Ability to prove US employment eligibility
