Responsibilities

Daily production of civil engineering design plans
Work as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and schedule
Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution
Performs other job duties as assigned

Qualification

PE licenseCivil Engineering degreeMicrostation proficiencyDOT/AASHTO Standards knowledgeTransportation design experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyVerbal communication skillsWritten communication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university required
4+ years of hands-on plan preparation experience for public agency roadway projects
PE license required
Proficiency in Microstation as well as a related transportation design package (OpenRoads Designer, Geopak) although candidates with an AutoCAD/Civil3D background will also be considered
Working knowledge of DOT/AASHTO Standards
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other general office software

Preferred

DOT project experience is preferred (IDOT is a plus)
