Responsibilities
Design and develop full stack applications using Java on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend
Work closely with post-trade business teams to automate processes and improve workflows through technology
Build reusable UI components to accelerate delivery and ensure consistency across internal platforms
Analyse, integrate, and maintain data feeds from counterparties and prime brokers
Collaborate with other engineering teams to build systems and components used across the wider firm
Take ownership of solutions end-to-end, contributing to design discussions, implementation, testing, and ongoing enhancement
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of commercial experience with core Java and React / TypeScript (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
Prior exposure to financial services (buy-side or sell-side), with familiarity across financial products
Strong interest in the business side of finance and confidence working directly with end users
Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic trading environment
