Principal Program Manager

Responsibilities
Leads cross functional projects or teams
Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels
Develops and manages department expense budget. Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances
Communicates project status to all stakeholders
Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues
Presents findings and makes recommendations to management
Works with all levels of management and senior leadership across functions to influence decisions
Develops metrics and dashboards to provide senior leadership with visibility into escalated issues
Incorporates feedback from business partners to improve the customer experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Job-related experience, 10 years
Preferred
Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
Electric distribution experience (i.e. field operations, estimating, service planning)
Proficient in excel, word, and powerpoint
Proficient in reviewing construction drawings and understanding technical specs
