Insight Global is seeking a Senior Aircraft Systems Engineer to lead and mentor a multi-discipline team. The role is responsible for ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of the aircraft, while managing engineering actions and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a multi-discipline team supporting the client’s 747/767/737/777 fleets
Ensure the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of the aircraft
Prioritize systems engineering actions
Manage heavy maintenance and conversion MRO documentation
Issue instructions to support safe and timely aircraft operations
Involve in budgetary planning
Ensure regulatory compliance (FAR/AD/NPRM)
Conduct FIX analysis
Liaise with OEMs, MROs, and regulatory bodies
Participate in industry working groups
Review consultant and contractor work
Develop AMOCs
Update technical documents
Support aircraft induction and integration
Focus on continuous improvement—enhancing reliability, reducing costs, and increasing aircraft availability and performance
Demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive technical issues to closure while balancing customer and team needs

Required

9+ years of experience as an Aircraft Systems Engineer with managerial experience
Must come from an aviation background (Airline, MRO, OEM)
Strong understanding of Aircraft Systems
Landing Gear, Flight Control Systems, Cabin Control, Fuel Systems, etc
Experience reviewing, advising, and updating records including engineering orders and STCs (supplemental type certificate)

Preferred

A&P Certification
Airline Experience
Bachelor's Degree
