Administrative & Collections Assistant

Metropolitan Linen Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative & Collections Assistant to support our Accounting and Operations teams. This role focuses on customer billing follow-up, collections outreach, reporting, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities

Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices via phone and email
Maintain collections trackers and update payment statuses
Assist with billing inquiries, invoice re-sends, and documentation
Support accounting, customer service, and operations teams with administrative tasks
Prepare reports and maintain organized digital records

Qualification

Administrative experienceMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skillsAttention to detailManage priorities

Required

College degree required
2+ years of administrative experience (billing, accounting support, or office administration preferred)
Strong communication skills; comfortable making outbound calls regarding outstanding balances
High attention to detail and strong follow-through
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment
