Responsibilities

Process incoming shipments and receive into the computer system

Deliver products, as well as move inventory to proper locations

Read and answer emails, as well as copy and file Receiving Department paperwork

Process return purchase orders, pick components for jobs and issues and maintain an organized and tidy work area

Inventory Control

Assist with the delivery of furniture for the Production Department

Pack and process UPS and FedEx Freight Shipments

Required

High school diploma or GED

Computer proficiency includes word processing

Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to understand and follow safety procedures

Working knowledge of computerized receiving processes, product class codes, and returns procedures

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems

Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers

Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists

Exerts in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading
