Responsibilities

Litigate insurance coverage and bad faith matters in California state and federal courts, as well as other jurisdictions as needed
Handle all facets of litigation from inception through trial, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, and trial preparation
Provide strategic insurance coverage advice and liability analyses to clients
Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client objectives and case exposure
Conduct sophisticated legal research, analysis, and persuasive written advocacy
Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness
Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas in a team-oriented environment

Required

JD with strong academic credentials
Minimum of five years of solid litigation experience, including at least two years handling insurance coverage and bad faith matters
Demonstrated experience litigating breach of contract, insurance coverage, and bad faith claims
Experience in both state and federal court proceedings
Proven ability to manage discovery, depositions, and complex motion practice independently
Strong analytical, writing, and strategic thinking skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Active California Bar admission in good standing (required)
