Responsibilities
Support IT/OT systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA
Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Assist with system configuration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
Ensure compliance with cGMP, data integrity (ALCOA+), and cybersecurity requirements
Support system validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
Troubleshoot automation, network, and system integration issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7 years of experience in IT/OT or automation within pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing
Experience with PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, or equivalent)
Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems
Understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and validated systems
Knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, OPC, Modbus)
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience in biologics or sterile manufacturing environments
Experience with DeltaV, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or similar platforms
Knowledge of MES systems (e.g., PAS-X, Syncade)
Understanding of cybersecurity standards for OT environments
Validation experience (CSV)
