Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server environments
Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability
Support Active Directory administration, including managing user accounts, groups, and permissions
Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and organizational units as needed
Apply patches and updates to servers in alignment with security best practices
Assist in implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures
Use monitoring tools to track system health, performance, and availability
Generate reports on server status and assist with capacity planning
Collaborate with senior administrators and IT support teams to resolve technical issues
Document processes and maintain accurate and updated system records
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networks at both permanent and temporary sites
Help troubleshoot networking issues on devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points
Conform to company Quality, Environmental, and Safety policies, any environmental laws, regulations, standards, and other requirements such as permits to operate

Required

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, and firewalls)
Familiarity with IP schema and VPN concepts
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks when appropriate
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in an end-user support role is required
Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to walk 3-4 hours per day, climb stairs, and access end-users' computers
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
Walking from one part of the office/facility to another
Crouching, bending and stooping while installing hardware
Up to 30% travel
