Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive cost estimates based on construction plans, specifications, and industry standards

Develop clear, complete proposals that accurately reflect project scope and pricing

Lead proposal reviews and ensure all documentation is ready for leadership approval prior to client submission

Act as the primary estimating representative with clients and partners while helping to expand customer relationships

Guide estimators and preconstruction team members in producing high-quality estimates and proposals

Establish and maintain estimating best practices, standards, and processes

Deliver estimates for a variety of project types, including design-build, design-assist, and early conceptual budgets

Coordinate all estimating activities for assigned bids/projects

Work closely with vendors to negotiate competitive pricing and ensure quality

Support other internal teams as needed, including generating multidisciplinary estimates and assisting project managers with start-up or change order costing

Ensure all estimates are accurate, complete, and aligned with company requirements

Perform work in office, on job sites, and travel to project locations as needed
