Software Engineer III - Front-End

Responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Qualification
Required
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience
Proficient in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript with demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable web applications
Strong experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand, or Context API)
Strong knowledge of CSS3, CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS), and CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components, Emotion)
Proficient with Jest for unit testing and Cypress for end-to-end testing. Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite)
Strong knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design methodologies and design systems and component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, or custom)
Experience with performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Chrome DevTools)
Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) for collaboration with design teams
Preferred
Knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and analytics integration
Familiarity with Java and Spring framework for back-end integration understanding
Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS) and containerization (Cloudfoundry, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API patterns
