Responsibilities
Lead the business development strategy for biologics, including monoclonal antibodies, Vaccines, gene therapies, and other advanced modalities
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical clients
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders across the industry
Partner with internal teams (R&D, process development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory) to ensure seamless client engagement and project execution
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging biologics technologies to inform strategic decisions
Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings
Oversee proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements for major biologics projects
Mentor and lead the business development team, fostering high performance and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field
8–12+ years of business development or commercial experience within a biologics-focused CDMO, biotech, or pharmaceutical setting
Demonstrated experience supporting and growing biologics programs, including contract negotiations and strategic collaborations
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
Preferred
advanced degree or MBA a plus
