Responsibilities
Lead the testing efforts for software projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java to enhance testing efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies
Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting
Participate in test planning, estimation, and resource allocation for testing activities
Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality assurance
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automated testing
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Familiarity with other testing tools and frameworks
Experience in performance testing and security testing
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus
