Responsibilities

Manage a team of Global Category Managers within the Equipment Supply Chain organization

Deliver sourcing and supply chain objectives for products in the data center infrastructure space

Develop and execute category strategies to achieve total cost of ownership, lead time, capacity, innovation and quality objectives for the products managed through close collaboration with Google cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, etc.)

Conduct strategic technology negotiations including contractual agreements to deliver cost, lead time and capacity objectives for the organization

Implement supply chain, inventory and process improvements through supplier performance metrics, scorecards, business continuity plans and regular business reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience

10 years of experience in category strategy, negotiations and supply chain management

3 years of experience in data center infrastructure equipment and supplier management

Preferred

MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field

5 years of experience in data center infrastructure

Experience working with general contractors, integrators and suppliers in a large infrastructure environment

Experience with industrial engineering and construction programs (e.g., data centers)

Excellent leadership and influencing skills
