Senior Account Executive - Wealth & Private Banking

Responsibilities
Carry your own sales quota within the Americas sales team, delivering digital transformation opportunities with net-new customers in the Wealth Management and Private Banking sectors
Set objectives based on your quota and plan accordingly to achieve targets, leveraging Backbase's leading solutions in this niche market
Build relationships and create opportunities with new and existing customers, focusing on enterprise software solutions tailored for Wealth Managers and Private Banks
Work in a flexible, informal, and fast-paced environment that empowers you to grow as a sales professional
Report directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales
You will build close relationships with your customers to understand their business drivers and establish buy-in at all levels (sales management, delivery leads, and senior/executive management). Identify and qualify new sales opportunities with Wealth Managers and Private Banks, effectively running a sales cycle to reach and exceed your goals
A quota-carrying role where you identify and close opportunities for Backbase business primarily with net-new customer accounts in Wealth Management and Private Banking
Manage and close large software agreements ($1M+ ARR)
Forecast and manage net-new opportunities from identification to close
Lead customers towards value-focused digital strategies tailored for wealth management
Establish a trusted advisor role with wealth managers and private banking customers
Aggregate requirements from customers to craft business cases for investments in digital transformation
Support Backbase's goal of building leadership in digital solutions for wealth management
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Deep understanding of the Wealth & Private Banking industry and its way of working
10+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role with a track record of exceeding quota
5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role dealing with wealth managers or private banks
You have built an extensive network of industry contacts and know the space inside out
Ability to reverse engineer business objectives to reach your goals
Eagerness to solve complex problems for your customers
