Responsibilities
Serve as the accounting point person for client executives. Lead accounting discussions, present financials to leadership teams, and guide clients through captive-specific questions
Coach and develop accountants on captive insurance accounting. Provide review on complex financials. Leverage external advisory partners for technical questions that require specialized expertise
Partner with the technology team to codify captive accounting knowledge into scalable processes, workflows, and platform features. Your experience shapes what we automate and how
Coordinate with accounting advisory partners on technical matters. Know when to escalate and how to translate guidance into actionable direction for the team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional accounting experience, with captive insurance or specialty insurance exposure
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
Experience coaching or mentoring junior accountants
