Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and validate financial and operational data provided by suppliers and distributors to ensure accuracy and completeness

Maintain and update accounting and operational information across internal data management systems

Review, process, and route incident or complaint reports from store locations to the appropriate distributor or supplier

Collaborate with IT and data teams to support data mapping, system integrations, and ongoing data integrity initiatives

Assist with invoice review, approval workflows, and processing in accordance with company policies

Support the reconciliation of reports, billings, and credits related to domestic bakery operations

Assist in managing purchase order (PO) activity and reconciling licensing and fee charges between distribution centers and bakeries

Perform general accounting support activities, including account analysis, reporting, and audit preparation as needed

Provide analytical support to finance leadership to identify discrepancies, trends, and process improvement opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Demonstrated experience with general accounting processes, reconciliations, and invoice management

Preferred

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables)

Experience working with web-based data management or ERP systems

Familiarity with data mapping concepts and collaboration with IT or systems teams

Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with standard business and accounting tools
