Handle the daily operations of the team
Develop and expand carrier relationships with both existing and new carriers
Train, mentor and develop a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives
Book freight and maintain KPI metrics while ensuring your direct reports do the same
Qualification
Required
2 years of transportation-related experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience
Solid experience in management, including prioritizing work and performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Solid conflict resolution skills
Proven leadership and creative thinking skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
