Project Manager, SAP S/4

Kärcher is seeking a Project Manager for SAP S/4 to lead and manage complex projects within the business and IT sectors. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure project execution, scope management, and adherence to best practices in project management.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Governance Manager to define Project Management approach for KNA business and IT. Provide direction for tools, templates and best practices
Lead a team of technical and business regional coordinators for S/4. Facilitate tests completion, training and overview steering committees, dashboards, escalation and reporting for the regional S/4 project
Manage and oversee large, long range, and multiple complex projects
Lead and support all phases of the projects from pre-study to handover
Work closely with IT managers, IT teams, 3rd party provider teams, business teams and leadership stakeholders for project execution
Develop project scope, cost estimates, human resource requirements, work plans, time schedules, communication plans, and make work assignments to meet project objectives
Become a functional expert when necessary, working closely with our design, development and support employees
Provide leadership and direction to the functional team so that tasks and activities are coordinated for project scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management and issue management
Establish and monitor priorities, objectives, and procedures, determining area objectives, targets of service, and resource needs allocation
Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan
Escalate impediments, manage risk, help ensure value delivery, and help drive relentless improvement
Participate in analysis of IT solutions by tracking the execution of features and capabilities using metrics and escalating and tracking impediments
Facilitate project meetings
Partner with IT teams to drive the proper and on-time sourcing of any hardware equipment needed
Coach leaders and teams in Agile practices and mindsets when relevant – KNA approach is Hybrid. Coach the Team in Scrum, self-organization, and cross-functionality

Preferred

2+ years of experience with manufacturing companies, basic understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts
4+ year leading SAP Projects. At least 1 S/4 roll out project experience
2+ years of experience working with Atlassian/Jira products
2+ years of hands-on management experience working with technical teams
Knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts, and practices
2+ years' experience leveraging project management tools and managing IT projects
PMP certifications, experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies are a plus
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to individuals and small groups
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience: Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering Degree preferred
The willingness and ability to travel to different Karcher facilities in support of or general team development
