They are seeking experienced Civil/Structural Bridge Design Engineers to perform engineering tasks, structural analysis, and design of bridge components, while also providing leadership on projects.

Responsibilities
Review and check standard structural design calculations
Perform structural analysis and design of standard bridge components using analysis software
Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans
Provide information for design reports
Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence
Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans
Review and check drawings
Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc
Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc
Will take on leadership roles, will assist Projects Managers in identifying issues and developing solutions
Senior Engineers will serve as technical leaders on complex projects
Senior Engineers will be responsible for the delivery of projects
Qualification
Required
At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
4-10 years related Bridge Design Experience for Mid-Level positions
Valid PE license in the state of Louisiana, or will be within 6 months of obtaining a valid PE license for Mid-Level positions
10+ years related Bridge Design Experience for Senior Level positions
Valid Professional Engineering License (PE) in the state of Louisiana for Senior Level positions
Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc
Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc
