Responsibilities
The Procurement Compliance Specialist is responsible for all procurement activities associated with projects funded by federal or state grants or loans
This role ensures that vendor contracts and material purchases meet all applicable compliance requirements, including grant and loan flow down provisions, Buy America Build America (BABA), and Cargo Preference Act regulations
The position serves as the primary liaison between the grants team and procurement, ensuring timely and accurate integration of compliance obligations into sourcing and contracting processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field
5+ years in procurement, contract management, or compliance for federally or state-funded projects
Strong knowledge of BABA, Cargo Preference Act, and federal/state grant requirements
Experience developing and implementing procurement processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and compliance processes simultaneously
