Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, developing/updating test scenarios, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for a web-based application

Required

At least 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience to include writing and executing test scenarios

Experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems, with a focus on Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing of various public assistance programs including Cash (TANF), Medical Assistance (Medicaid), Food Benefits (SNAP), and Child Care

Proficiency with testing techniques – Must understand the various approaches used in testing, including white-box, black-box, coverage, and regression

Demonstrated experience testing batches, interfaces (including flat files and SOAP UI), reports, security roles (including coarse-grain and fine-grain), and data conversion

Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing system documentation, identifying test objectives, writing and updating test cases, and executing functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications

Ability to independently write and modify SQL queries of moderate complexity to validate database results

Experience testing Web-based replacement of legacy systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Ability to balance multiple assignments and prioritize effectively to ensure work delivery according to project timelines

Ability to coordinate across teams to gather information, present findings, and resolve issues

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

Ability to deliver under pressure

A willingness to live and work in central Pennsylvania

Preferred

Test automation experience

Experience with methodologies including but not limited to Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall

Experience using Azure DevOps to write and run test cases

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
