Crescent Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the pre-construction phase of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the U.S. This role involves coordinating internal and external teams to drive projects from development to construction while managing schedules, risks, and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate matrixed project teams, aligning Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction resources to meet critical milestones

Identify and incorporate key project variables (environmental, regulatory, land, interconnection) to enhance technical and financial feasibility

Develop technical scope, optimize design variables, and support PPA/GIA negotiations and jurisdictional requirements

Collaborate with Engineering on design inputs and with Estimating to build and maintain robust financial models; actively incorporate market data to strengthen project economics

Competitively source, negotiate, and execute contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC services

Present project progress, financial models, risks, and mitigation strategies to management and executive leadership

Deliver fully executable construction plans for smooth turnover to the Construction team

Contribute to process improvements to support scalable growth

Required

5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy, power generation, or related infrastructure projects

Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects at different stages

Bachelor's degree required; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred. Degrees in Construction Management are considered with relevant experience

Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery storage projects is a plus

Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and public hearings
