Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and debugging embedded C firmware for production systems
Working close to the hardware - networking, interfaces, and real I/O
Debugging and optimizing firmware and network protocol performance
Collaborating with engineers across hardware, manufacturing, and operations
Writing clear documentation so others can build on your work
Helping bring products from concept - prototype - production - field support
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in C (required)
Experience with embedded or low-level systems (bare-metal or close to hardware)
Familiarity with common protocols and interfaces (TCP/IP, UDP, SPI, I2C, etc.)
Experience working in Linux-based development environments
Exposure to Python and/or C++
Comfortable using version control and structured development workflows
Preferred
Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
PHP, MySQL, or JavaScript for tooling, diagnostics, or internal systems
Networking-heavy or device-to-server projects
