Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for IBM i systems, providing strategic guidance and recommendations for hardware and software

Oversee the lifecycle management of over 100 IBM i installations, ensuring optimal performance and security through regular maintenance and upgrades

Lead a dedicated team in the setup and configuration of new IBM servers, managing procurement and logistics

Deliver expert technical support and problem resolution for IBM i systems and related peripherals

Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Qualification

IBM i OSSystems engineeringHardware configurationIBM i securityCommunication skills

Required

Over 10 years of experience in systems engineering or a related infrastructure role, with at least 3 years in a management capacity

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Expert knowledge of IBM i OS and system performance components, with proficiency in hardware configuration and support

Strong understanding of IBM i security and operations, including user profile management and backups

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
