Responsibilities
Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
Performs maintenance and repairs
Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software
Train other field engineers and customers on the solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or other university-level degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar) is highly preferred
4+ years of hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance, or instrumentation use as an end user of the Gas Chromatography system for analytical interpretation and analysis
Ability to solve high-impact problems related to product availability, typically focused on system or solution-level issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer relationship-building skills are essential
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
A valid driver's license is required for this position
