Responsibilities

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts and assemblies

Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators

Operate and program coordinate measuring machines (CMM)

Inspect incoming raw materials and components from outside processing

Accurately, document inspection results on travelers, reports, and logs

Support nonconformance investigations and communicate quality issues to supervision

Interpret and apply GD&T standards to inspection work

Review engineering drawings, control plans, and customer specifications

Support the quality team in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 documentation, driving continuous improvement, and promoting cross-functional collaboration

Contribute to first-pass yield improvement and defect reduction goals

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection area

Keep tools and equipment in proper working order and report issues promptly

Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
