They are seeking an Environmental Services Intern to support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives through technical document reviews and research projects, providing hands-on experience in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical reviews of daily supplemental environmental surveys and related reports

Update the environmental database with reports and corresponding data

Develop data mapping for recycling and waste diversion initiatives

Assist with vendor prequalification processes

Conduct research and support data collection for air and stormwater permits

Provide research support for various environmental compliance and sustainability projects

Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Rising Seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Compliance or a related science field with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply

Minimum 3.0 GPA required

Foundational understanding of environmental science, sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to review technical documents and support environmental initiatives

Ability to update databases accurately, develop data mappings, and support data collection and research for compliance and sustainability projects

Strong research skills to gather, synthesize, and apply information from multiple sources to support environmental programs and initiatives

Highly detail-oriented with the ability to review technical reports, identify discrepancies, and ensure quality and compliance in all deliverables

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to support projects and meet program objectives

Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly document findings, present information, and interact with team members effectively

Eager to learn, apply new concepts, and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environmental and sustainability setting

Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel

Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms

Requires close vision

Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
