Assistant Facility Security Officer - Woburn, MA

Responsibilities
Working with the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other relevant DoD security guidance to implement/continue a security program/presence
Maintain employee Foreign Travel Reporting per 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117
Coordinate and collaborate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems
Ability and working knowledge on managing prime / subcontract DD-254 forms (Contract Security Classification Specifications) and the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
Develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program
Conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre- / post-foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
Assist with OPSEC and Critical Information List training
You will assist with security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences
Closely work with other security cores. Including Physical, Cyber, Security Business Partners and Special Programs where needed
Qualification
Required
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Min of (8) years' of experience in a Security or related field
Two (2) years' of Facility Security Officer(FSO) or Assistant FSO experience
National Industrial Security Program experience
Work experience interacting / working with Defense Counterintelligence, Security Agency and/or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel as well as varying levels of senior and executive leadership
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, or Business
Uncompromising ethics and integrity
History of strong collaboration both vertically and horizontally in a professional organization
Exceptional time management, prioritization abilities, and ability to achieve goals and targets while performing multiple tasks
Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong business acumen
Experience working within a large multinational matrixed organization
FSO Certification for a classified possessing facility
