Responsibilities

Attend all required meetings including: Monthly COR meetings, Programme progress reviews, Parish Council meetings
Produce and submit a monthly Religious Education calendar by the final business day of the preceding month, including: Regular and Seasonal RE Events, Chapel and Community Events, Holiday Closures and Holy Day
Support Religious Education classes by: Preparing facility reservation requests, Creating flyers for RE programmes and seasonal activities, Tracking and reporting weekly RE attendance
Coordinate seasonal programmes such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Vacation Bible School, and RE Kick-off
Submit monthly reports on attendance, materials used, and supplies
Prepare sacramental records by collecting documentation and completing accurate AMS portal entries
Complete required background checks in line with programme requirements

Qualification

Catechist certificationMicrosoft OfficeOrganisational skillsCommunication skillsAttention to detail

Required

Able to gain Catechist certification within 90 days
Confident communicator, both written and spoken
Computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Professional, respectful, and courteous at all times
