InternSaint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Nursing Intern for their Trauma Surgical Progressive Care Unit. As a Nursing Intern on the Surgical PCU unit, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide care to patients with a variety of conditions.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, telemetry monitoring status, and treatment plans
Perform clinical procedures and provide patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
Perform direct and indirect patient care activities
Provide support to other health care team members
Perform technical tasks per unit competency validation
Qualification
Required
Be enrolled in a formal nursing school
Have a certified nursing assistant certificate
Successfully completed SLHS NA internal training program
Completed their fundamentals of care course in nursing school
Less than 1 year of applicable experience
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
