Responsibilities
Execute projects based on customer specifications and needs
Involved in project estimating, design reviews, programming, installation and commissioning support
Specify control systems hardware and software per customer requirements
Solve problems independently and suggest solutions to internal and external customers
Demonstrate commitment to building technical skills through continuous education
Provide guidance and mentorship of others
Interface and communicate effectively with various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, electricians, vendors, customers, and company leadership
Ensure customer satisfaction through successful project execution and effective communication
Build and maintain relationships to foster repeat business and growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years in the automation field
Extensive experience in Process Control required, preferably with Rockwell PlantPAx Distributed Control Systems
Extensive knowledge and experience in control system design, machine safety, PLCs, SCADA/Operator Interfaces
Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Capable of working independently or within a team environment
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Positive attitude towards safety and personal integrity are essential
Ability to travel up 50-90% of the time
Preferred
Knowledge and experience in drive systems, robotics, and/or vision systems is a plus
